LOE. & D’ORANGE

During each session, two promising acts from the Utrecht area present what they have to offer. The young Utrecht record label IJSVOGEL Records records the entire evening and releases the recordings online as beautiful live videos.

LOE. & D'ORANGE
At this sixth edition of the Songbird Sessions, two quirky and talented acts will take the stage: D'ORANGE and LOE. Utrecht-based band D'ORANGE has developed a warm and jazzy pop sound, in which harmonious vocals and soulful instrumentation go hand in hand. The six-member group's layered sound draws inspiration from the work of Ruben Hein, John Mayer and Madison Cunningham, among others. You can listen to their music here.

LOE. makes dreamy and atmospheric - but also explosive - alt-pop music. LOE.'s debut EP, titled "VLOED," blends associative, twisted and perceptive Dutch-language lyrics with rich and dynamic instrumentations. Influences from kleinkunst and the music of Wende, Spinvis, Typhoon and Eefje de Visser can be heard in LOE.'s work. After a full 2022 - including shows in EKKO, Patronaat and as part of the Pop College Tour - LOE. now visits ZIMIHC theater Zuilen. Listen to 'FLOOD' here.
