900 seconds - 'The City Without Walls'
The animation project 900 seconds contains the works of 90 local animators, including students and alumni from HKU. The project is directed by Udo Prinsen and inspired on ‘Utrecht 900 Jaar’, celebrating the 900th anniversary of Utrecht as an official city.

The animator’s results can be viewed every Friday and Saturday on the Canvas video wall in TivoliVredenburg. The public opening is on 6 October. Everyone is welcome, so bring your colleagues, friends, and family. Due to the limited space, it’s best to come in time.

The animations can already be seen on large screens in the atrium of the City Office, in the lobby of Hooghiemstra and in shopping mall. Hoog Catherijne (locatie Clarenburg, P5). On 27 September, they are also screened during the animation night of the Dutch Film Festival in Hooghiemstra.

The teaser below shows a selection from all the animations. You see the works of: Yanniek Klijn, Puck de Haan, Danee Anthonijsz, Maite Meijlink, Tess Jones, Dewi van der Meulen, Suze Keultjes, Anne-Sophie Jongmans, Naomi Voet, Anna Koppen, Tessa van Vuren, Daan Lucas, Frederieke Mooij, Sanne Brouwer, Annabel Venneker, Naomy Derksen, Lotte Dijkstra and Tonke Koppelaar.

The project is realised by Animation31 and the music for the reel is made by HearHear.
