Spanish violists Marta García and Irati Pagola, together with pianist Daniel Juberias, present a programme exploring the rich expressive world of the viola. All three are currently in their second year of the Master’s programme at the Utrecht Conservatory, where their shared passion for chamber music has brought them together.

During this lunchtime concert, the viola takes centre stage, inviting you to discover the versatility and warm sound of this remarkable instrument. The programme includes Frank Bridge’s Lament, movements from César Franck’s Sonata for Viola and Piano, and Clara Schumann’s Drei Romanzen. Through these works, the musicians showcase the many colours and expressive possibilities of the viola.
