How to get to Location Pastoe Fabriek

Bicyble

Pastoe Fabriek is well situated and easily accessible by bicycle. You can park your bike in the covered bike store, which is 50 metres to the left of the entrance, next to the big garage door.

Public transport from Utrecht Centraal Station

Take the bus to the Tolsteegplantsoen or Vaartsche Rijn stop. Pastoe Fabriek is within walking distance.

Public transport from Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn Station

Pastoe Fabriek is a roughly five-minute walk from Vaartsche Rijn Station.

Parking

The closest place to park is in the ParkBee Rotsoord. car park. There is also paid parking a couple of hundred metres away in the Vaartsche Rijn car park. If you would rather park free of charge, then check the website www.parkerenindestad.nl.

Academies

At the Pastoe Fabriek, everything revolves around visual art. It is home to HKU Fine Art, where students develop their own artistic practice and create autonomous artworks. The Master Fine Art programme is based at the IBB-laan location.

Lucrative Dumpster Dives (LDD)

As with the locations Oudenoord and IBB-laan, at Pastoe Fabriek you will find Lucrative Dumpster Dives (LDDs), where you can pick up, deposit and exchange materials for creative and sustainable reuse. Not only students, but also lecturers are permitted to use the LDDs.
