It’s great that you’ve chosen HKU! Find out here how to apply for an HKU degree programme. Once you’ve applied, there is usually an admissions procedure to ensure that you’ll be coming to the right place.

Applying for the 2024-2025 academic year

You can submit your application for the 2024-2025 academic year from 1 October 2023.

Application deadlines

If we receive your application before 15 January 2024, we guarantee you a place in the admissions procedure. Applications received after 15 January 2024 will be processed based on availability.

Can you still apply?

Some programmes at HKU are very popular or offer a limited number of places. Once the programme or admissions procedure has reached the maximum number of places, we can no longer process your application to participate in the admissions procedure. To find out whether there are still places available, check out the application and admission information on the webpage of the programme of your choice.
