How to get ready
HKU has 9 schools spread across 7 locations. A bit of preparation goes a long way:
- Know where to go: After signing up, you’ll receive info about the location(s) you’re interested in.
- Plan your day: Want to visit more than one school? Make a schedule. The morning will fly by!
- Bring your work or instrument: For portfolio reviews, workshops or other activities.
- Register now to make sure you receive all the practical info ahead of time!

Who’s welcome at the HKU Open Day?
Everyone’s welcome! Whether you're exploring your study options or coming along for support — our doors are open for:
- Future students interested in a bachelor’s or associate degree
- Creative professionals looking to develop further through a master’s programme
- Students from other universities interested in doing a creative minor at HKU
And of course, parents, guardians, friends and family are very welcome too.
It’s always nice to share the experience with people who matter to you.

Student Affairs
During the Open Day, student advisors from our Student Affairs department will be present at the Nieuwekade, Oudenoord, Mariaplaats, Pastoe, and IBB locations to answer any questions about studying at HKU.
Student Welfare
In addition, advisors from Student Welfare will be present at the Janskerkhof, Mariaplaats, IBB, and Oudenoord locations to answer any questions about well-being and how we support students.
Masters
Our Masters Programmes are also part of the Open Day.
