The educational programmes of HKU are not just limited to full bachelor’s and master’s courses for new creative professionals. We have a growing range of contract courses for employed (and experienced) professionals who want to further develop or expand their knowledge and skills. Because the current social and technological changes demand us to keep on learning.

Trends and developments

The creative sector is broad and offers lots of room for development. This sector is not just limited to artists, but also includes, for example, creatives in media and entertainment. Utrecht alone has over 30.000 jobs in the creative industry, of which 3.200 in the media sector.
