The Dutch Design Week (DDW) is a nine-day design event in which all disciplines of design are featured, both the artistic and the practical. The emphasis lies on experiment, innovation and cross-over, with special attention to the works of young aspiring design talents.
Class of 25
During the Dutch Design Week, six HKU alumni will be exhibiting their designs in Klokgebouw (Hall 2) as part of the Class of 25. In this group exhibition, both Dutch and international academies present a selection of their graduation works in multiple disciplines. The theme is ‘The storm of the incomprehensible’, featuring a young generation of creators who relate themselves to a future in which, among others, technology and our most intimate experiences merge into one.The participating artists are: Azzurra Ruimschotel, Sven Lablans, Kim Vijfhuize, Rosa den Iseger, Uliana Gromyko en Fatine Benouari.
