System check

About one week before the test, you will receive an email invitation from noreply@noa-online.net (NOA is the organization that administers the test) to complete a system check. The email may land in your spam folder, so keep a close eye on your inbox or save this email address in your contacts.

You do not need a mobile phone for the system check—only the computer with a webcam on which you will take the test. It is important that you complete this system check well before the test starts to ensure your computer is suitable. For the system check, you need the Google Chrome browser.

After completing the system check, you will immediately receive an email with your link to the test itself. You can only take the test on the agreed day at 10:00.

The test

The aptitude test (MCT-H) consists of several components that together measure aspects of a person's abilities. You will likely be occupied for about 2 hours.

For each test component, an instruction is provided in advance explaining what is required. Several example questions and practice questions are also given. Read the instruction very carefully. You are not allowed to use any aids such as a notepad, dictionary, or calculator.

Limited time is available for each test component, and the computer displays this time on screen. When the time runs out, the computer notifies you. You can no longer continue with that component. If you finish a component earlier, review your answers carefully before closing it.

It is important to always start with question 1 and continue from there, because the easiest questions are at the beginning of the test and the most difficult at the end. If you truly do not know an answer, guess so you can move forward.

You can change a selected answer. Sometimes you must first delete the old answer by clicking with the mouse on the filled checkbox to clear it.

The aim is to work as quickly and accurately as possible. You may not finish the entire test. Try to get as far as possible and answer as many questions correctly as you can.

Once you leave a test component, you cannot return to it.

After four components, you have the option to take a short break—for example, to use the restroom. Make sure you return to your computer in time. If you do not want to take a break, you can dismiss the break prompt and continue working immediately.

Before the test starts, the instruction is also shown again, so you do not need to memorize it now.
