Mariaplaats location reopens on Saturday, 17 January

Both buildings of HKU Utrecht Conservatorium, the Main Building and the Arts and Sciences Building, will reopen at their regular times on Saturday 17 January. Today, Friday 16 January, both buildings will remain closed for the rest of the day. From Monday 19 January, we will be able to resume our regular teaching at the Mariaplaats location.
Mariaplaats location reopens on Saturday, 17 January

Staff and students who have left something behind in either building can collect it from 9:30 a.m. on Saturday 17 January. If you are coming to collect something, please report to reception when you arrive.

Sat 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. / Sun closed

Mon to Fri 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Sat & Sun 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Mariaplaats location was evacuated and closed on Thursday afternoon, 15 January, due to a fire following an explosion in the Visschersteeg near Mariaplaats. Fortunately, all staff and students were able to leave our buildings safely. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the fire and explosion. We wish them much strength.
