The Music in Media Awards are an initiative of Buma Music in Motion. This division of Buma Cultuur brings together composers, directors, music supervisors and other music decision-makers, highlighting the crucial role of music in media productions. It does so through events, an annual conference and the awards, as well as by maintaining an active presence at festivals and industry gatherings such as the Netherlands Film Festival, International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam and Amsterdam Dance Event.
