Ode to the Noisy City

Utrecht is noisy. A city that is never quiet. At the event Ode aan de Luidruchtige Stad ('Ode to the Noisy City'), students of HKU Music and Technology have used the sounds of the city in their compositions and soundscapes, mingled with musical repertoire selected by the Zuilens Fanfare Corps.

The result is a lively musical ode to the city, inspired by a theme that is recognisable to many: the noisiness of the city.

Featuring works by: Xena Derks, Thomas de Jong, Mick Broer, Jasper Paol & Jurrian Steman, Joris van de Sande, Cristian Davila Hernandez, Brant Peije Teunis, Bart Buur.
