Learning Experience Design Conference 2019
Plaats: Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (HvA), Wibautstraat 2-4, Amsterdam
Tijd: 09.00 - 17.00 uur
How do you design an impactful learning experience? That's what we are going to debate, discover and design during the fourth annual learning experience design conference. Join members from the global LX design community on March 20, 21 and 22 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands for another memorable event.
The need for good learning experiences is echoed in one of the United Nations’ sustainable development goals: quality education. In fact, the UN states that “Obtaining a quality education is the foundation to creating sustainable development.” Raising the quality and accessibility of education is vital to achieving all seventeen sustainable development goals.
As learning experience designers, we have both the opportunity and the responsibility to contribute to these goals. We can do this on an individual level by putting people at the center of our work and helping them achieve their goals. On a larger scale we can push the learning experience design movement forward towards a wiser world.
Are you up for the challenge?
LXDCON attracts learning- and creative professionals from all over the world. Besides learning experience designers, we expect to welcome teachers, publishers, scientists, game designers, user experience designers, interaction designers, instructional designers and anyone looking for ways to design better learning experiences.
About the event
LXDCON is the premier learning experience design conference in the world. Since 2016 we’ve organized five LXDCON events in Europe and Asia which has given us a unique position in the field of learning experience design. We want to bring people together who are looking for ways to design better learning experiences. This enables LX design to grow as a field of expertise and as a global movement.
The initiator and organizer of LXDCON is the Dutch LX design firm Shapers. For each event we partner with renowned educational organizations. For LXDCON 2019 we are proud to have the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences as our host and the Digital Society School, Centre for Innovation of the Leiden University and HKU University of the Arts Utrecht as partners.
