Perspective by Bas Hordijk is a short film about humankind and its place in the bigger picture. By putting the emphasis on abstractions and illumination, from a human point of view, the film explores the thematic and visual aspects of street photographs. The visual language is complemented by its sonic counterpart.
His graduation film 'Perspective' (2019) won him a Filmfonds Wildcard at the Nederlands Film Festival in Utrecht, which will fund the production of his next short film. This film will premiere at a future edition of the Nederlands Film Festival.
