The Master of Arts in Arts Management is a full-time, post-graduate programme with duration of 48 weeks. The programme starts in September and ends at the end of August of the following year. The programme is intended for ambitious young professionals with a desire to advance themselves in the creative industry.
The programme is divided into two semesters. From September until February students take part in the portfolio project, a project on behalf of an external client. The individual research module takes place from February until August.

This Master of Arts in Arts Management programme works with the practice based research model. This means that both theory and practice are continuously linked to the profession. From day one, you will work on projects for clients in the field. You will develop management skills and knowledge in a multidisciplinary setting. Upon completion of the programme, you will be ready for a position as a managing professional in the creative industry.
The Master of Arts in Arts Management is an international master: courses have an international focus and both international and national students are being recruited.
During this programme, you will conduct one month of research abroad, in a country of your choice. You will also work with projects in an international context and be exposed to a wide range of topics in our subject area. The faculty provides each student with a research grant to support the research abroad. The research abroad will take place in April.
The Faculty of Art and Economics will host a series of master classes and workshops by our professors and senior lecturers. Topics include arts management in a European context, cultural policies, project management, audience development and cultural strategy.
Before entering the MA AM programme, you are asked to describe your learning goals and your ambitions for starting out in the professional field. You will be encouraged to set realistic goals that take into account the requirements of the area of arts management you are interested in. The projects you will take part in will be tailored to your ambitions. In this master’s course, extra attention is paid to expanding your awareness, experience, skills and knowledge about your chosen field.
Upon successful completion of the Master's programme, you will receive the Master of Arts in Arts Management degree. This means that the Master of Arts in Arts Management offers an international university MA degree. The MA is recognized in all countries acknowledging United Kingdom degrees and awards.
