Our Student Service Centre (SSC) offers support and provides information on what you will need to arrange for your study here. Procedures differ slightly depending on your length of stay and which study you plan to follow. Therefore, please select which applies to you:

The official language of instruction at the Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU) is Dutch. Some course units, however, are particularly designed for foreign students while other courses are taught by foreign lecturers. In these cases the language of instruction is most likely to be English.

For students whose level of your prior education is insufficient we offer the 18+/21+ test. This test is given in English or Dutch. You can only partake in the test if you have demonstrated sufficient creative aptitude by passing your entrance exam. The 18+/21+ test is an intelligence test which tests the level of general development.
Students who qualify will receive information on how to apply, via e-mail. Exam costs are € 75,-.
