European Design Award ceremony
Last weekend, Helsinki (the design capital 2012) was the stage for the ceremony of the European Design Award. Three alumni and a teacher Graphic Design at HKU received prizes.
Autobahn won a silver European Design Award for their Digital Alphabet in Stone. Vos Broekema and Melanie Drent (I don't buy it) won an Award for the design of an edible book that was made for De Kwartiermakers. Teacher Karin Langeveld (Trappedinsuburbia) won four silver Awards for her work for Fresh Tracks Europe and Graphics Happiness.
