Each faculty has its own place (literally and metaphorically) and its own atmosphere, which is clearly recognisable in the faculty buildings. One thing that characterises all the faculties is the exceptionally high level of the education. Each HKU teacher - in whatever faculty - is a highly driven expert in his or her specialist area. And each faculty at the HKU has one important objective - to impart sufficient knowledge and experience to students to enable them to flourish in the world of art and culture.
