You can apply for a bachelor course or the Master of Music at the HKU digitally via the online application ‘Studielink’. This means you can apply to the HKU from anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
Make sure you apply timely to ensure sufficient time for entrance exams and to arrange visa, residence permit and housing. After we have received your application via Studielink, we will send you an invitation for the entrance exam. This is generally done via e-mail, so make sure you apply with a valid e-mail address.
During the entrance exam you will need to demonstrate your work, your experience and your talent. You will receive information regarding the exact procedure with the invitation for your entrance exam.

After you have received information via Studielink, that you have been accepted, you need to complete your registration. Enrolment starts in June. You will receive notice of this, so watch for e-mail from Studielink. The HKU will inform you about payment of your tuition fees. When all this has been arranged, you can start your course at the HKU the following August.
